Dell Inspiron 1564 Laptop Battery Replacement

  

Step 1 Battery

 

                               

           

• Place the laptop on a flat surface and open the cover.
• Unplug the power cord from the laptop.

• Step 2

•        

  • Turn the laptop off by holding down the silver power button in the upper left corner until all the lights turn off.

  • Step 3

  •       

    • Close the cover of the laptop and turn the laptop over so the the bottom is facing up.
    • Locate the release latch.
    • Locate the battery on the bottom of the laptop.

    • Step 4

    •       

      • Slide the battery release latch to the right and hold it.
      • With your other hand, pull the battery away from the laptop and release the latch.
